Biography Dr. Pieter Snyders, MBCHB, FCS(SA)

Dr. Pieter Snyders is a dedicated general surgeon who completed his postgraduate qualifications at Stellenbosch University. As one of two surgeons at Swartland Surgery, Dr Snyders is committed to providing state-of-the-art surgical solutions with an evidence-based individualized patient approach. He will be providing comprehensive surgical services with a special interest in minimally invasive endoscopy (gastroscopy/colonoscopy), laparoscopic surgery, trauma and acute care and surgical oncology.

Dr. Snyders’s work ethic is defined by a continuous pursuit of excellence, meticulous attention to detail and an unparalleled dedication to patients and their families. Outside of the operating room, Dr. Snyders is an amateur cook who enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. He also loves exploring nature through hikes with his two dogs.
